LIVE from the BUNKER was a short-lived web-based live video show which aired throughout the summer and fall of 2008. The program had a regular timeslot of Wednesday nights at 7PM Pacific. During the first few broadcasts, the star of the program was UFO Phil. However, the position of show host was ultimately assumed by Les Michaels.

There is some controversy over who actually created the show. In UFO Phil: The Movie, Les Michaels claims to be the program's brainchild. However, evidence exits which points to UFO Phil himself as the show's creator. It is safe to assume that the show could not have existed without ample input from both people. Valuable contributions to the show's look and feel were also made by Doc the Gaffer, a professional lighting designer from Los Angeles.

UFO Phil's maiden broadcast happened on the evening of June 10, 2008. The short transmission featured a solo UFO Phil speaking on the subject of alien abduction. On June 14th 2008, UFO Phil again appeared in a solo broadcast. However, this time he phoned the popular national radio program Coast to Coast AM and spoke live to George Noory. Thousands of viewers instantly flooded to UFO Phil's streaming video channel and ultimately helped boost popularity of the webcast.

The final episode of LIVE from the BUNKER aired on October 29, 2008. The broadcast featured the very first showing of UFO Phil: The Movie. A rough-draft director's cut of the film was shown. Reasons for the demise of LIVE from the BUNKER are clouded in mystery. A rumor even circulated on the web which suggested that the compound was raided by federal agents directly following the premiere of UFO Phil: The Movie. A few attempts were made to revive the webcast. Ultimately, the show never regained it's footing.
